Military-Specification Distribution Panels
Subcontractor to Modutech Marine · Tacoma, Washington
Fail-Safe Electric designed and fabricated 60 custom military-specification distribution panels for U.S. Navy vessel construction programs at Modutech Marine's Tacoma shipyard.
The $151,518 project supported new construction of the 25-foot Barrier Tug and 30-foot Medium Tug platforms, delivering power-distribution equipment built to Navy military-specification requirements. The scope encompassed complete panel engineering, component procurement, assembly, wiring, and testing to military standards.
Each distribution panel was configured for the unique electrical load requirements of small Navy working craft, incorporating marine-grade components rated for the demanding operational environment of harbor and fleet support vessels. Fail-Safe Electric's UL Listed 508A control panel shop supported the quality-assurance standards required for federal vessel applications, and on-time delivery enabled Modutech Marine to meet its Navy contract milestones.
